  1. Hi!
I’m a sophmore, and I’m very interested in joining this organization! Unfortunately I have two C+’s in psychology courses (intro to psych and personality psych.) Is there any ways I can still have a chance to make it in?

    Thanks!
    Rebecca Case

  2. I was just informed that I have been rejected and I’m not sure why. Is there any way to get information about why a specific applicant’s application would be declined? Thank you for your time.

  3. Thanks for your interest in Psi Chi! We hate to deny applicants, so I’m really glad that you’re reaching out to us! I saw your online application, however, we also require that applicants submit their unofficial transcripts. The application process is detailed on our website: https://psichiucsc.wordpress.com/how-to-join-psi-chi/. If you are a transfer student be sure to submit your unofficial transcripts from UCSC and ALL other colleges attended (e.g. community college). So instructions are there, but feel free to contact me if you have any other questions/concerns/comments. If and when you apply next quarter I will no longer be in charge of applications; Mike Whitbord is the incoming treasurer, so he’ll be the one handling all the applications. Just fyi. But don’t hesitate to reach out to me; I’ll be around and probably still active with Psi Chi.

Again, thanks for your interest and have a lovely day!

    Inez

  4. I’m a double major in another field as well as psychology. I was wondering: is the GPA requirement specifically for psychology classes, or does my complete GPA have to calculate out to 3.43?
